Neelima Rashmi Lakra

Academic Leader

I am Dr. Neelima Rashmi Lakra, a Lecturer in Business Management at the London School of Management Education (LSME), affiliated with the University of Chichester. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a PhD graduate from TISS, Mumbai, my work bridges the gap between corporate strategy and social justice. My research—published in journals like Contemporary Voice of Dalit—focuses on labour migration, caste dynamics, and the intersection of mental well-being and occupation.

I am particularly passionate about Responsible Management Education, a field in which I was honored to receive the 2023 PRME UK & Ireland Funding Award.

Since April 2022, I have served as a Lecturer in Business Management at the London School of Management Education (LSME), affiliated with the University of Chichester, where I actively champion the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). My commitment to ethical leadership is highlighted by a 2024 project funded by the PRME Chapter UK and Ireland, building upon my doctoral research into Training Needs Assessment within the public sector. Prior to joining LSME, I built a diverse portfolio as a Tutor at the University of Edinburgh, a consultant for NIEPA, and a contributor to an NHS government campaign. I am an active member of several premier academic bodies, including the British Academy of Management and the International Sociological Association, with a research footprint that includes 14 publications and 33 conference presentations delivered at institutions ranging from Mohammed V University in Morocco to the University of Melbourne. My current teaching and research focus on Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
